Membership Application

Instructions

Please determine and select the type of membership that fits your organization below.  

In order for your membership application to be processed, the CEO or Executive of your organization must submit a letter to the Nevada Hospital Association officially requesting membership.  Please include services offered, key benefits to existing NHA members, and any Nevada clients.  The letter can be attached to the application.

Associate membership in the Nevada Hospital Association (NHA) is reserved for health-related organizations having an interest in association activities and services.  Associate membership is not available to state licensed hospitals.

In order for your membership application to be processed, the CEO or Executive of your organization will need to submit a letter to the NHA officially requesting membership, including services offered, key benefits to NHA members, and any Nevada clients.  

The membership application and letter will be presented to the NHA Board of Directors for review and approval.  Upon approval of membership, NHA will send out an invoice for dues.  Associate Member dues are $1,500 per calendar year and are due on January 1st.  Memberships that are approved after the start of the calendar year will be eligible for pro-rated dues.

Colleague membership is reserved for new Nevada hospitals in the planning or construction phase of development.  Full membership is available at the time of opening/operational status.  If a hospital is a colleague member at the time of opening/operation status they must transfer to full membership at the calendar year immediately following.  Membership benefits are bestowed on a facility level.

In order for your membership application to be processed, the CEO of the planned facility must submit a letter to the Nevada Hospital Association (NHA) officially requesting membership.  The letter needs to include the reason(s) for requesting membership along with the contributions the facility will make in the delivery of health care services to consumers.  

The membership application and letter will be reviewed by the NHA Board of Directors for approval.  If approved the NHA will send a colleague membership dues invoice.  

colleague members with anticipated bed opening less than 50 are assessed dues of $1,000 per year. colleague members with anticipated bed openings 50 or more are assessed dues of $3,000 per year.  Dues are billed annually and are due January 1st of each year.  Memberships approved after the start of the calendar year will be eligible for a pro-rated dues calculation.

Full membership in the Nevada Hospital Association (NHA) is reserved for state-licensed acute, specialty and government hospitals in Nevada.  Membership benefits are bestowed on a facility-level.

For your membership application to be processed, the CEO of your facility must submit a letter to the NHA officially requesting membership. This letter should include the reason for requesting full membership and the contributions your facility will make in the delivery of health care services to consumers.  

The membership application and letter will be submitted to the NHA Board of Directors for review and approval.   Upon approval of membership the NHA will send an invoice for first years dues.  Dues are calculated on a pro-rated basis using the facility's operating expenses.
